Changes to the Blog – Cambios al blog

The blog has not changed for a while. In the beginning, I was changing it fairly regularly. I wish that I had kept track of the changes. Here is the last look of the blog when I was on wordpress.com.

La apariencia del blog no ha cambiado por mucho tiempo. Al principio, lo cambiaba a menudo. Es una lástima que no guardé fotos de los cambios. Aquí hay una del último <<look>> del blog cuando todavía usaba wordpress.com.

Other than the pictures in the slider, which I change from time to time, the blog looked like this since September 2013 when I changed to wordpress.org.

Con la excepción de las fotos arriba, que cambio de vez en cuando, el blog no ha cambiado desde septiembre del 2013 cuando empecé a usar wordpress.org.

It is just about time for a more dramatic change, but in the meantime, I made a couple of little tweaks. First, I made some changes to the About page. I just realized that the pages should have titles in Spanish as well, but I do not know how to add those. On the About page, I added the four boys that have lived with us over the past three years and also translated everything into Spanish. Because I am now writing all of my posts bilingual, I did not feel that the Cabo de Sueños en español page was necessary any longer. I did not delete it, but I made it a sub page below the About page.

Es hora de hacer un cambio más drástico, pero antes de eso, hice unos cambios menores. Primero, cambié la página <<About>> o ¿Quiénes somos? Acabo de darme cuenta de que las páginas deberían tener títulos en español también, pero no sé hacerlo. En esa página incluí información sobre los cuatro muchachos que han vivido con nosotros en los últimos tres años y traduje todo al español. Como ahora todos los artículos son bilingües, pensaba que la página <<Cabo de Sueños en español>> no era tan necesaria, así que la puse debajo de la página About.

Then, I added a page for my Bucket List. I realized this week that I left a couple of items off of the original list. I cannot believe it because they are things that I have wanted to do forever. You can check out the updated list here. The two additions are at the bottom.

Después añadí una página sobre todo lo que quiero hacer antes de morirme. Me di cuenta esta semana de que había dejado dos metas de esa lista. No puedo creer que se me olvidó de ellos porque son cosas que he querido hacer por muchísimo tiempo. Puedes ver la lista actualizado aquí. Hay dos adiciones al final.

Finally, I decided that there was too much space to the right of the Search bar. Because I have no idea how to move it over, I added another page, First Post. This way anyone that would like to start reading the blog from the beginning can easily find where to start.

Por fin, decidí que había demasiado espacio a la derecha del espacio de búsqueda. Porque no sé moverlo, añadí otra página para llenar el espacio. Es de mi primer artículo para que los que quieran leer mi blog desde el principio puedan encontrarlo más fácilmente.

Those are all of the changes for now. I am sure that there will be others eventually.

Estos son los cambios hasta ahora. Algún día habrá más.
