Coat Rack Update
Just a short update on my post from Friday. My friend Kathy really liked the coat rack, and since I had more of the panels in the basement, she decided to take me up on my offer to take one….or two. She came over this afternoon and had hers painted in just a few hours. She plans to use them in a different way behind the coffee tables in her living room. She still does not have the hooks on them, but here is a picture of her panels newly painted.
The picture below is what I was working on while she was painting. I will not tell you what it is yet, but it will be the subject of a post coming soon to a blog near you. Try to guess what it is!

I am a teacher, traveler, artist, writer, homemaker and a whole lot more. In January 2009, I bought the Cape of Dreams. It was the second house that I had ever owned, but it was the first that I bought by myself. I now live in the house with my husband Douglas, our dog Kahlua, and Crème de Menthe, the cat.
