DIY Halloween Graveyard

Last November we ran across a number of landscaping blocks on the curb. I would have liked to take them all, but we limited ourselves to three. I thought that they looked a bit like tombstones and planned to use them for Halloween. Last weekend, Douglas pulled them out.

Then, he procured some baby faces for me. When I got home from work on Tuesday afternoon, they were out on the lawn looking definitely macabre.

There was also one in a flower pot amidst the garlic chives.

I decided to add one to the wreath on the door.

We need to figure out how to light them up, so that people can see them at night.

Happy Halloween!

I am a teacher, traveler, artist, writer, homemaker and a whole lot more. In January 2009, I bought the Cape of Dreams. It was the second house that I had ever owned, but it was the first that I bought by myself. I now live in the house with my husband Douglas, our dog Kahlua, and Crème de Menthe, the cat. Because, what life is complete without a little Kahlua and Cream? I love arts and crafts of all kinds, and I refinish furniture as well. We are slowly redoing our entire house.
