Last Wednesday, I published the an update on my living room and challenged you to come up with the two other differences in the pictures.

On Monday, I showed you the new wall of plants in the living room.

Today I am sharing the other change. Have you figured it out yet? It might help that I mentioned the change in my update on Friday.

This is what the dining room looked like in August.

And here it is now.

That’s right. I finally sold the black and white table on Craigslist. It was a bittersweet moment. I had bought that little table in 2008 at a yard sale for $5. It was in rough shape. Unfortunately, that was pre-blog, and I do not have any pictures. I fixed it up and have loved it ever since. Thankfully, it went to a young couple who were thrilled to get it. I hope they love it as much as I did.

For now we are using the table we found on the curb two years ago. The plan is to eventually refinish my great-grandmother’s dining room table, but this is good for now.

About

I am a teacher, traveler, artist, writer, homemaker and a whole lot more. In January 2009, I bought the Cape of Dreams. It was the second house that I had ever owned, but it was the first that I bought by myself. I now live in the house with my husband Douglas, our dog Kahlua, and Crème de Menthe, the cat. Because, what life is complete without a little Kahlua and Cream? I love arts and crafts of all kinds, and I refinish furniture as well. We are slowly redoing our entire house. You can read about my projects on my blog www.CapeofDreams.com
