Painting the Bathroom

This project is taking a lot longer than it should. I wish I could tell you that we have finished painting this room, but alas that would be a lie. What I can tell you is that the first coat looks great, and I dearly pray that we will finish this weekend.

Painting the bathroom

Our inspector approves the work done so far and urges us to finish the job. She was joined by what looks like a second inspector in the form of a toilet brush cat.

Hopefully your projects are going better than ours!

Happy Homemaking!

P.S. Painting a ceiling is miserable work. I highly recommend avoiding it if at all possible.

I am a teacher, traveler, artist, writer, homemaker and a whole lot more. In January 2009, I bought the Cape of Dreams. It was the second house that I had ever owned, but it was the first that I bought by myself. I now live in the house with my husband Douglas, our dog Kahlua, and Crème de Menthe, the cat. Because, what life is complete without a little Kahlua and Cream? I love arts and crafts of all kinds, and I refinish furniture as well. We are slowly redoing our entire house. 1. Its looking really good. Last weekend we repaired our fence it took us 7hrs in total, putting in new posts and mending the panels. We were very tired by the end but I keep going out to admire our hard work. Hope you have the same satisfaction x

    • Oh, that was not the inspector’s beer. Nor did she approve of it in any way. Those glasses of beer that crop up in numerous photos on this blog are the only things that keep Douglas and I from getting a divorce when we work on projects together!
