Spot the Change – Espía el cambio

There is a lot that I want to tell you about – stories I have to tell, but I just don’t have the time right now. In the meantime, here is a picture of the living and dining rooms. Can you spot at least four changes?

Hay mucho que quiero decirte – muchos cuentos que compartir, pero no tengo el tiempo en este momento. Mientras tanto, aquí te muestro una foto de la sala de vivir y el comedor. ¿Puedes espiar al menos cuatro diferencias?

I am a teacher, traveler, artist, writer, homemaker and a whole lot more. In January 2009, I bought the Cape of Dreams. It was the second house that I had ever owned, but it was the first that I bought by myself. I now live in the house with my husband Douglas, our dog Kahlua, and Crème de Menthe, the cat. Because, what life is complete without a little Kahlua and Cream? I love arts and crafts of all kinds, and I refinish furniture as well. We are slowly redoing our entire house. You can read about my projects on my blog www.CapeofDreams.com

  1. Hmm… this is hard. I don’t remember the red throw on the purple couch–which I thought was on the same wall as the front door before. Is that a new purple rocking chair (cute!)? What about the chevron pillow on the chaise? Hi Crème, I see you!

    • The purple couch is still in the same place, and I believe that the red throw has been there for a while. The rocking chair has been in the living room for almost a year, but I did paint it purple last week! There are still several more changes. I will write about them all soon.

  2. damn i hit post too fast. was also going to ask about the shades – can’t remember if they were there before, but i really like how they look. however i think maybe you put them up a couple years ago…

    • They have been up, but I took the curtains down a couple of months ago to wash them, and I never hung them back up. That is probably why they look different.
