Getting Lucky in the Bedroom
I promise that this post is going to be PG, so if you were worried about the title, please do not leave. Conversely, if you came here hoping to view some bedroom action, you will be disappointed. Here is the cutest thing in my bed most of the time.
Now that I have your attention, here is a little something from the bedroom that I have been wanting to share with you for a while. I actually forgot all about it until last weekend when I was going through some old pictures.
You may remember when I went to Costa Rica and brought home a horseshoe that I found on a hike. I hung that horseshoe over the door in the living room.
Then, on another trip to Montana, I went horseback riding. What I never told you was that I found a horseshoe on that ride as well. It must have been my lucky summer!
I decided that one should go over the bedroom door, because I like getting lucky in there. 😉
I think it adds a little character.
These odd little souvenirs are the things I pick up on my trips.

For me those are the best kinds of things to bring home from a trip. The things that remind us of where we have been. I want everything in my house to have a story.

They say that luck is preparation meeting opportunity. Well, I keep my eyes open everywhere I go hoping to find “treasures”!
Hopefully not, lol!
